We launched our business in 2021 with the goal reviving memories captured on tapes and other media, making them easily accessible on both PCs and TVs.
We are now in 2025, your videos and media are another year older, which means they face further degradation Delaying the conversion process could lead to losing your tapes permanently, preventing you from sharing family moments!
Over the years, we have converted numerous videos and offer value-added services. We meticulously review each video from beginning to end to ensure a complete conversion, removing any blank spaces and unwanted recordings. Additionally, we enhance the video and audio quality using our advanced conversion—all at no extra charge. If you want to add your favorite music or make edits to your home videos, we're here to assist!

Step 1: Choose what we convert your tapes to...
Chose from memory stick, DVD or Cloud.
There are typically 3 ways in which people like their conversions.
A memory stick can be plugged into the back of most TV's or PC's. Note that different-sized memory sticks hold different numbers of video's (depending on how long the content is on the video) We at Thetechnologyguru.co.uk will select the correct-sized memory stick for your conversions at no extra cost.
Conversion to the cloud provides you access to your conversions over the internet. Typically we will complete the conversions and give you access over the internet so that you can download the conversions to your PC.
Many people value the conversion of their files to a DVD. Note that normally due to the size of a DVD one video can be converted to a DVD (or in some cases a pair of DVD's). This means that you may end up with lots of DVD's if you have a lot of conversions - so a memory stick might make more sense.

We convert your traditional video tapes, Hi8 tapes, MiniDV tapes, Cine film, DVD's, audio cassettes and we scan documents. Now you have chosen the conversion media you require, click on the type(s) of conversions you need from the below. You can add the exact quantities you need and remember - the more conversions you require, the lower the price for the conversion!!!

Please contact us using the button below, by mailing us at info@thetechnologyguru.co.uk or calling us on 07903 206606 and we will quickly provide you with a quote. Once we have agreed the cost, send them in to us and we will keep you updated on how long the conversions will take with regular updates. Alternatively we can collect and drop off if within 50km or you can drop off and collect. Once complete, we will send the original media and conversions back to you at no additional charge!

Bulk Order Discounts
5 to 9 tapes or up to 500 photos get a 10% discount.
10-19 tapes get a 15% discount.
20-39 tapes or up to 1000 photos get a 20% discount
40-99 tapes get a 25% discount.
100+ tapes or up to 5000 photos get a 30% discount.
Note that discounts are applied in the cart automatically!
